December 2011

After many months of extensive renovations, the time has arrived for the Grand Opening Dedication Ceremony of the New Chabad Naples Jewish Community Center on January 15th 2012 at 4:00PM at 1789 Mandarin Road in Naples.

We now have a safe and beautiful environment for Shabbat & Holiday Services, Preschool of the Arts, Youth and Teen Centers, Adult Education Institute, Friendship Circle, Camp Gan, Sunshine Club and all the other ongoing programs and activities.

Please join us and share in the blessing of the historic Torah that was saved from the Holocaust and lovingly restored and enjoy the music of Lawrence Dermer and Third House Rising.

Dear Friends,

We are very excited to share some great news with you!

Chabad Jewish Center of Naples has entered into a contract to purchase a property to serve as the new Chabad Jewish Center, serving Naples and Marco Island.

Since 2004, Chabad Naples has been a beacon of light to the entire community and a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of background or prior knowledge, to learn or pray, to be inspired, or to just stop in for some friendship.

Over the past six years, Chabad has grown tremendously, and the current facility – on Seagate Drive– can no longer accommodate our ever growing roster of programs and services.

After a long search we have found the perfect location which is on Mandarin Road across from the Coastland Center. This beautiful property, a former church, with 20,000 square feet will become our beautiful Center including a Sanctuary, Preschool, Library & Study Hall, Children's Play & Learning Center, Teen Lounge, Friendship Circle and offices.

This is a very exciting opportunity allowing us to serve the community on a much broader scale, and gives each of you a “home” and a center for Jewish life and living.

Thanks to the generous support of several key founding members, we are well underway to raise the necessary funds. However we need your help. We are turning to you to participate in this unbelievable project.

Please think about the Chabad Jewish Center and the powerful long term effects of Chabad’s work. We are not funded by any central organization, and we must independently raise every penny of this capital campaign as well as the operating budget.

We are proud to introduce this mini-website designed for you to view the facilities and to acquaint yourself with the building campaign and the dedication opportunities available.

Please consider making a substantial gift towards this building through this secure website, or if you would like to get together to discuss giving opportunities, feel free to contact me, [email protected] or 239-404-6993 239-404-6993 239-404-6993 239-404-6993 .

We thank you for your friendship and support.
